TAHUKAH ANDA BAWAHAWA PISANG MAMPU MENCEGAH DARI KEKEJANGAN OTOT

Pisang adalah antara buah-buahan yang paling banyak dimakan di dunia menurut Jabatan Pertanian Amerika Syarikat. Sehingga ke hari ini, pisang ditanam di sekurang-kurangnya 107 negara dan menduduki tempat keempat di antara tanaman makanan dunia yang mempunyai nilai wang.

Pengambilan pisang dalam diet harian memberikan banyak manfaat kepada tubuh badan. Pisang dapat membantu mencapai matlamat mengurangkan berat badan, menjaga usus, membekalkan nutrien bagi mengawal degupan jantung serta membekalkan vitamin untuk kesihatan mata.

Campuran unik vitamin, mineral, dan Karbohidrat Glisemik rendah dalam pisang telah menjadikan pisang sebagai buah kegemaran di kalangan atlet ketahanan.

            Satu kajian yang dilakukan pada tahun 2012 menunjukkan bahawa penunggang basikal jarak jauh yang memakan satu setengah pisang untuk setiap 15 minit perlumbaan tiga jam akan menghasilkan tenaga yang sama seperti meminum minuman karbohidrat dan mineral.

            Para atlet telah lama memilih pisang sebagai makanan untuk pencegahan kekejangan otot. Pisang terbukti mengandungi kandungan Potassium yang tinggi dan kekejangan otot sering kali berlaku kerana kekurangan Potassium.

• Setiap pisang mengandungi 467 mg potassium yang penting untuk mengawal kadar denyutan jantung dan tekanan darah.
• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) dalam pisang menyediakan kira-kira 28% daripada apa yang diperlukan setiap hari untuk membantu mencegah anemia dan penyakit arteri koronari.
